The musical will run in repertory at the DR2 Theater with Neurosis.
Neurosis, a new musical by Allan Rice, Ben Green, and Greg Edwards, and R.R.R.E.D., by Katie Thompson, Adam Jackman, and Patrick Livingston, will have their New York premieres this summer at the DR2 Theatre. Neurosis, with a book by Rice, music by Green, lyrics by Edwards, and musical direction by David Aaron Brown, will begin performances July 25, with opening night on August 17. It is described as "a story about finding happiness, falling in love, and dealing with that little voice in your head along the way." Casting will be announced at a later date.
R.R.R.E.D., with a score by Thompson and book by Jackman, Thompson, and Livingston, and musical direction by Rodney Bush, will begin performances July 28 and open on August 19. Both musicals will have scenic design by Charlie Corcoran, lighting design by Jake DeGroot, costume design by Michael McDonald, and sound design by David Sanderson.
