I Spy a Spy Sets Cast for Off-Broadway Premiere

Jamie Jackson and SoHee Youn's I Spy a Spy will have its off-Broadway premiere at the Theatre at St. Clement's, July 5-September 21.

Directed and choreographed by Bill Castellino, the production will star Grace Choi, Emma Degerstedt, James Donegan, Taylor Fields, Andrew Mayer, Frankie Paparone, Hazel Anne Raymundo, Nicole Paloma Sarro, Lawrence E. Street, Sorab Wadia, John Wascavage, and Bruce Warren. The creative team includes James Morgan (set design), Tyler Holland (costume design), Michael Gottlieb (lighting design), Dave Ferdinand (sound design), Joseph Hayward (associate director), Victoria Casillo (assistant choreographer), and Eric Krebs (producer).

In the play, "José Rodriguez, an undocumented Mexican delivery guy, has an American Dream – to become 'a someone.' Alina Orlova, a beautiful but inept Russian spy, also has an American Dream – to bring down America and to save the family's "Fluff N' Fold!" Speeding though one preposterous and hilarious plot twist after another, Jose and Alina embark on a wild adventure to fulfill their destinies."
