Pocket Universe's new production of Francis Beaumont and John Fletcher's The Maid's Tragedy recently began performances of its run at the Access Theater. The production, conceived by Alyssa May Gold, has released the first photos of its run through June 30.

The Jacobean revenge drama is set in present-day Hollywood, where sexual misconduct allegations jeopardize the careers of a powerful film producer and an actress. Lucy Gram directs.

Featured in the company are Erin Roché as Melantius, Greg Carere as Amintor, Alyssa May Gold as Evadne, Michael Thatcher as the King, Sydney Battle as Aspatia, and Aleca Piper as Calianax, Dula, and Lysippus. The production will have lighting design by Christina F. Tang, movement direction by Valentine Aprile, and fight direction by Ned Donovan.
