Cirque du Soleil’s acrobatic spectacle Zarkana, currently playing Radio City Music Hall through October 8, will return to New York City in Summer 2012.

This acrobatic rock opera, written and directed by François Girard, blends circus arts with the surreal, as it follows Zark, a magician who has lost his powers – and the love of his life – in an abandoned theatre populated by a motley collection of off-the-wall characters and incomparable acrobats.

Following its current New York run, Zarkana will move to Madrid and Moscow for fall and winter performances.
