The York Theatre Company will present An Intimate Night at the York, celebrating the lush history of New York City cabaret with a special evening featuring commentary by special guest James Gavin, interspersed with performances by award-winning cabaret artists including Natalie Douglas, Shana Farr, Marissa Mulder, T. Oliver Reid, Steve Ross, KT Sullivan, Bill Zeffiro, and more.

The event will take place October 30 beginning at 9pm at the York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's. Admission is free with the purchase of a full-price ticket to the 7pm performance of Midnight at the Never Get. Cabaret-only tickets are also available for purchase.

The current York Mainstage production of Midnight at the Never Get is set in a Greenwich Village cabaret during the 1960s, with a score that recalls the Great American Songbook. An Intimate Night at the York celebrates that era, "when the art of cabaret was at its height," with gems by the likes of Bart Howard, Cy Coleman and Cole Porter, as well as songs made popular by Mabel Mercer, Bobby Short, Julie Wilson, and many others.
