Due to popular demand, Playwrights Realm has extended the world-premiere production of Sarah DeLappe's debut play The Wolves, now at the Duke on 42nd Street. Originally slated to run through September 24, performances have now been extended through September 29.

Directed by Lila Neugebauer, the production features a cast of 10 female actors. The story follows the members of an indoor soccer team, the Wolves, who navigate big questions and wage tiny battles from the safety of their suburban stretch circle. The play is described as "a portrait of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for nine American teens who just want to score some goals."

The company of The Wolves is made up of Brenna Coates, Jenna Dioguardi, Samia Finnerty, Midori Francis, Lizzy Jutila, Sarah Mezzanotte, Tedra Millan, Lauren Patten, Susannah Perkins, and Mia Barron.

The creative team includes Laura Jellinek (set design), Lap Chi Chu (lighting design), Ásta Bennie Hostetter (costume design), and Stowe Nelson and Beth Lake (sound design).

Performances began on August 29, with an official opening on September 11.
