Guest performers have been announced for Captain Smartypants’ Air Smarty, to play Columbia City Theater, May 29-June 7.
This “homo-comedy” features songs by Annie Lennox, a tribute to gay and straight composers, and a medley of songs the creators claim are “shown to drive people clinically insane.” The cast includes Eric Ranelletti, Tim Clements, Jeff Erickson, Josh Herrington, Rad Milosavljevic, David Nilsson, Don Riling, Paul Rosenberg, and Steve Watson.
Seattle’s own gender-bending boylesque sensation Waxie Moon will guest star on May 29, 30 and 31. Local singing legend Bobbi Kotula will guest June 5, 6 and 7. Saturday and Sunday performances will also feature Sensible Shoes, the small ensemble of Seattle Women’s Chorus, in a 10 to 15 minute curtain warmer.
