Robert Askins' Hand to God, currently being produced by MCC Theater at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, is a dark comedy about Jason (Steven Boyer), a young student at the Christian Puppet Ministry in Cypress, Texas, whose life is taken over by a foulmouthed sock puppet named Tyrone.
