Now in its eighth season, Washington D.C.’s Capital Fringe Festival is filling our nation’s political epicenter with 18 days of cutting-edge theater. With 738 performances of 130 shows, the festival features a wide range of theatrical genres ranging from solo presentations to rock musicals.
The festival opened July 11 and will offer performances at 18 venues throughout the city until July 28. Fort Fringe, the festival’s headquarters, houses three of these performance venues as well as a scene shop and its hip Baldacchino Gypsy Tent Bar where artists and patrons alike can come to celebrate the wealth of new art in our nation’s capital.
