Victor Garber will star in the NBC drama pilot Notorious, from Universal TV and BermanBraun, according to Deadline.com.
Written by Liz Heldens, Notorious follows a detective who returns undercover to her childhood home to investigate the mysterious death of the heiress who was once her best friend.
Garber, who will play patriarch Robert Lawson, is known for his work on Alias and Eli Stone. His Broadway stage credits include Present Laughter, Damn Yankees, and Sweeney Todd, among many others.
