Ars Nova will present a return engagement of its acclaimed Underground Railroad Game, running May 30-June 15 at Greenwich House.

Written and performed by Jennifer Kidwell and Scott R. Sheppard, Underground Railroad Game takes place at Hanover Middle School where two teachers get shockingly graphic with a lesson about race, sex, and power. The quick-witted duo go round after round on the mat of our nation's history in a show described as "a far-reaching, unfiltered, and unflinching comedy."

Created with Lightning Rod Special and directed by Taibi Magar, Underground Railroad Game's creative team includes Tilly Grimes (production design), Steven Dufala (scenic design), Oona Curley (lighting design) Mikaal Sulaiman (sound design), Ryan Borque (fight choreography), and David Neumann (movement consultant).
