Trinity Repertory Company has announced plans for its 2017-18 season. The six-play lineup aims to tell stories that reflect the diverse nature of its community. It will feature the talents of Trinity’s Resident Acting Company as well as several Brown/Trinity MFA graduates, who will be returning to direct.

The season kicks off with a repertory presentation of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, directed by Brian McEleney, and Dominique Morisseau's Skeleton Crew, directed by Tiffany Nichole Greene. The two works will run in rep September 28-November 26.

Ringing in the holiday season will be the 40th anniversary production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, running from November 9 to New Year's Eve. This year the play will be codirected by acting company members Angela Brazil and Stephen Thorne, with acting company member Joe Wilson, Jr. starring as Ebenezer Scrooge.

The new year will bring George Brant's Into the Breeches!, January 25-February 25. Taibi Magar will helm the world premiere that was written specifically for Trinity Rep’s acting company members.

William Shakespeare's Othello will be directed by Whitney White, February 15-March 18, followed by the fifth play of the season: Karen Zacarias' Native Gardens, April 5-May 6. Rounding out the season will be the Tony Award-winning musical Ragtime, based on the novel by E.L. Doctorow, with book by Terrence McNally, and music and lyrics by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens. Directed by artistic director Curt Columbus, the show will run April 26-May 27.
