Red Bull Theater hosted a benefit reading of Moliere’s The Miser, adapted and directed by Doug Hughes, on Monday, October 22 at the Lucille Lortel Theater.
The cast for the satire of greed featured Steven Boyer, Rachel Brosnahan, Andrew Hovelson, Richard Kind, TR Knight, Nicole Lowrance, Jan Maxwell, John Procaccino, Reg Rogers, Richard Thomas, John Tillotson, and Marc Vietor.
Guests at the event included Veanne Cox, Andre De Shields, Dana Ivey, John Carroll Lynch, Pam MacKinnon, Kristine Nielsen, and Tovah Feldshuh and Gregory Wooddell, both of whom will be appearing in Red Bull’s upcoming production of Volpone, helmed by Artistic Director Jesse Berger.
