To reach the Lucille Lortel Theatre by SUBWAY, take the 1 train to Christopher St. - Sheridan Sq. and walk west to Hudson Street. By PATH train, exit at the Christopher Street station, served by Journal Square - 33rd Street and Hoboken - 33rd Street lines.

This theater is named for the Off-Broadway producer and philanthropist, Lucille Lortel. This space is considered one of the best Off-Broadway theaters in New York. It often houses shows that eventually move on to Broadway.
