Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins joins the cast of New York City Center’s Encores! La Cage Aux Folles as Jacqueline. Peter Francis James as Edouard and Rachel Webb as Anne also join the cast of the show, running June 17–28.
The new cast members join previously announced Emmy Award winner Wayne Brady as Georges, Emmy, Grammy, and Tony winner Billy Porter as Albin, Alaman Diadhiou as Jean-Michel, James Jackson Jr. as Jacob, Michael McElroy as Francois, Sharon Washington as Marie, and Lance Coadie Williams as Renaud.

The Tony-winning musical with a book by Harvey Fierstein and music and lyrics by Jerry Herman closes out the 2026 Encores! season. This production, directed by Robert O’Hara, features an all-Black cast. This Encores! production highlights the original 1983 orchestrations, not heard since its original Broadway run, with guest music direction by Joseph Joubert. Choreography is by Edgar Godineaux and tap choreography is by Dormeshia.
