Tony Winner Alex Sharp Set for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Remake Nasty Women

Alex Sharp, Tony Award winner for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, has been cast in MGM's remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson. The upcoming film is titled Nasty Women.

The movie, written by Jac Schaeffer, will be directed by Chris Addison, who will be making his feature film debut. Cave 76's Roger Birnbaum and Wilson's Camp Sugar are producing.

Alex Sharp won a 2015 Tony Award for originating the role of Christopher Boone in Broadway's The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. His other upcoming projects include John Cameron Mitchell's film How to Talk to Girls at Parties, based on a short story by Neil Gaiman, which also stars Elle Fanning and Nicole Kidman. He also has upcoming roles in Monumental and U.F.O.
