The Strand Center for the Arts will present the live music subscription series, Now That's What I Call Music Live!, beginning with 1998's original NOW album on November 27. The series will bring the famous album series alive as a list of local and national music acts re-create pop classics.
Featuring a 20-piece house band, the November 27 concert will be hosted by performer Remember Jones. Audiences can expect to hear songs ranging from Aqua's "Barbie Girl" and The Spice Backstreet Boys "As Long as You Love Me" to Cherry Poppin' Daddies "Zoot Suit Riot" and Radiohead's "Karma Police."
The fresh look at 1998 will feature guests including Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis (Jekyll & Hyde), Spectra Music Group recording artist Kiirstin Marilyn, and country duo Williams Honor and Virginia Cavaliere (In The Heights tour) as well as New Jersey bands Bone & Marrow, The Shady Street Show Band, Brielle Von Hugel, Mad Feather Group, Tommy Shafer, Kayla Dillon, Chris Rockwell, Bre Cade, Jennifer Nelson, The Barefoot Strings, The Color Atlantic, Zach Westfall, and more.
