The Dog Show By Emmy Winner David Javerbaum Will Open Next Month

The Dog Show: Come. Sit. Stay, a new comedy by the 13-time Emmy-winning head writer of The Daily Show, David Javerbaum, will play the Triad Theater. Directed by Richard Israel, it will run October 13-November 29, with opening set for October 18.

In The Dog Show, inspired by the simple idea that dogs are wonderful, actors perform a series of monologues from the dogs’ perspective, giving voice to the thoughts such as how dogs really feel about taking baths or sticking their heads out of car windows.

There will be two pairs of “pooch seats,” priced at $129, available at each performance. Pooch seats consist of a chair for the dog owner and a pet bed for their canine companion.

Casting will be announced in the coming weeks.
