The late Elizabeth Swados' ensemble musical Runaways is in its final preparations for its July 6-9 run at New York City Center as part of the Encores! Off-Center series. The all-kid company, directed by Sam Pinkleton, has been remembering Swados' legacy in the rehearsal room, learning about her work and the 1978 musical's lasting message.
