T.R. Knight and Hannah Cruz Will Head to Skid Row in Little Shop of Horrors

T.R. Knight and Hannah Cruz will join the cast of Little Shop of Horrors at the Westside Theatre beginning Tuesday, October 27. Knight will take over the role of Seymour, and Cruy will play Audrey.

The musical’s current Seymour and Audrey, Ethan Slater (Marcel on the Train) and Betsy Wolfe (Death Becomes Her), will play their final performances on Sunday, October 25.

Knight’s most recent stage credits include Are You Now or Have You Ever Been and Stranger Things: The First Shadow, while Cruz received a 2026 Tony nomination for her turn as Svetlana in Chess, helmed by Little Shop director Michael Mayer.

With music by Alan Menken and a book and lyrics by Howard Ashman, Little Shop of Horrors is the Faustian tale of a florist’s assistant who discovers a strange and unusual plant that feasts on human blood. It also garners him unprecedented acclaim and attention. But just how far will he go to impress the woman he loves?

This off-Broadway revival directed by Michael Mayer opened in 2019. TheaterMania’s review hails it as “the best musical off-Broadway.”
