Stars Share Why They Can't Wait to Perform at the TheaterMania Block Party

”Kinky Boots”’ Jeremy Villas, The Amazing Max, and more sound off.

TheaterMania's annual Block Party will take place this Sunday, September 11. As part of the Third Avenue Community Fair, the event turns one block of Third Avenue (between 74th and 75th Streets) into a celebration of theater around New York City.

In addition to booths with games and giveaways, theater fans who stop by the event will have a chance to catch TheaterMania's free concert (noon-5pm). Hosted by the magician Amazing Max, the presentation will feature performances by Broadway shows Cirque du Soleil Paramour, Chicago, and Waitress as well as the Saunders Siblings, York Theatre Company's You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and more.

The free open-air concert will be a treat for stars and fans alike — just hear what a few of the performers are saying:

It is the theater community celebrating the theater capital of the world and a huge thank-you to all New Yorkers for all they do to support it. I'm thrilled to be hosting it for the fourth year in a row and looking forward to an awesome, high-energy Third Avenue Street Fair."
