Roundabout Theatre Company will present the Fiasco Theater production.
Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the complete cast and creative team for Fiasco Theater's new production of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's Merrily We Roll Along, with performances beginning Saturday, January 12, 2019, and opening night set for February 19 at the Laura Pels Theatre. Fiasco co-artistic director Noah Brody will direct the production, with Alexander Gemignani (Carousel) as musical director and orchestrator, and Lorin Latarro as choreographer.
Brittany Bradford and Manu Narayan will join previously announced cast members Jessie Austrian, Paul L. Coffey, Ben Steinfeld, and Emily Young, all Fiasco company members. The creative team will include Derek McLane (scenic design), Paloma Young (costume design), Christopher Akerlind (lighting design), and Peter Hylenski (sound design).
With a score by Sondheim and book by Furth, Merrily We Roll Along is based on a play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, and features classic songs like "Old Friends," "Not a Day Goes By," and "Our Time." Fiasco's production includes additional material from the original play.
