The Singular Sensations series, in which host Glen Roven speaks with legendary musical theater stars about their careers, will close on Sunday evening after 24 performances at the Village Theater due to disappointing ticket sales.

This week’s guest, Florence Henderson, is the third star to appear for one week of performances, discussing her achievements and offering musical highlights of her career. The series opened with Carol Channing and continued with Donna McKechnie. Kitty Carlisle Hart was scheduled to appear next week, and future guests were to have included Lainie Kazan, Elaine Paige, James Naughton, Shirley Jones, Betty Buckley, Mickey Rooney, Jane Powell, and Cy Coleman.
