The Radio City Rockettes are ringing in their next century with new choreography and technology.

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. has announced new elements for the 2026 Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes, including a new tap number, “Ring,”” and a camera system that will give audiences new views of the company’s choreography.
“Ring” begins with three Rockettes appearing in silhouette, increasing throughout the number until all 36 dancers come together for the final kickline. In contrast to the traditional, musical theater-style tap numbers in the show, the choreography of “Ring” features more intricate, rhythmic footwork that drives the music forward.
The number, set to “Carol of the Bells,” has tap choreography by Chloé Arnold, who codirects and cochoreographs with Christmas Spectacular resident director and choreographer Julie Branam, resident associate choreographer Hannah Sides, and associate choreographer Dylan Pearce. Music is co-arranged by Thaddaeus Tribbett and David Chase.
The costumes for “Ring” were designed by the Radio City costume department, with accessories by Miodrag Guberinic of Mio Design Studio. The costumes, customized for each dancer, begin with sparkling shoe spats and build to a crystal-embellished black-and-silver dress, shoulder epaulettes, and a glittering headpiece. The complete look incorporates more than 3,600 individual crystals and is intended to evoke the appearance of a metal bell.
Visuals for the number were designed by Berlin-based animation studio Woodblock, which has created immersive visuals for Sphere residencies by Anyma and Illenium.
In addition, the Christmas Spectacular will incorporate multiple on-stage cameras throughout the production. The cameras will capture the action from overhead, side, and front angles, with the live images projected onto two screens flanking the stage. The technology is designed to provide views that would not otherwise be visible from the audience, including overhead perspectives of the Rockettes’ formations and side views of the kickline.
