Rock of Ages Revival to Star Original Cast Member Mitchell Jarvis

Full casting for the production has been announced.

Original cast member Mitchell Jarvis will return to the role of Lonny for the upcoming off-Broadway revival of Rock of Ages, scheduled to begin performances at New World Stages on June 19.

Jarvis will be joined by C.J. Eldred as Drew, Kirsten Scott as Sherrie, original cast member Katie Webber as Waitress #1, P.J. Griffith as Stacee Jaxx, Matt Ban as Dennis, Dane Biren as Franz, Tiffany Engen as Regina, Tom Galantich as Hertz, and Jeannette Bayardelle as Justice/Mother. Rounding out the ensemble are Ashley En-Fu Matthews, Leah Reed, Michael Mahany, Mekhai Lee, Kevin Michael Raponey, Justin Colombo, and Autumn Guzzardi.

Written by Chris D'Arienzo, Rock of Ages follows Drew, a young rocker with the dream of receiving his big break, and Sherri, the small-town girl with whom he falls in love while working at a legendary Hollywood rock club facing its imminent destruction. The score comprises hits by Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, and more.

The production is staged by original director Kristin Hanggi and choreographed by Kelly Devine. The production will have scenic design by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Gregory Gale, lighting design by Jason Lyons, sound design by Peter Hylenski, and projection design by Zachary Borovay.

The 16-week run will conclude on October 6.

Rock of Ages premiered off-Broadway at New World Stages on October 16, 2008. It opened at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre on April 7, 2009, and later transferred to the the Helen Hayes Theatre on March 24, 2011. It played a total of 22 previews and 2,328 Broadway performances before closing on January 18, 2015.
