The 2013 off-Broadway cast recording of Jason Robert Brown’s acclaimed musical The Last Five Years will be released to stores and online outlets on September 24.
Adam Kantor and Betsy Wolfe led the cast of Second Stage Theatre’s revival, which Brown also directed. The production broke box office records for the off-Broadway mainstay and ranks as one of the company’s longest-running shows in its 34-year history.
The new recording is produced by Brown, with Kurt Deutsch and Stacey Mindich serving as executive producers. Sh-K-Boom also produced the original 2002 cast recording of The Last Five Years, which remains one of the label’s bestselling titles.
