Repertorio Español, the highly regarded Spanish theater company, will celebrate its 35th season with a gala on Wednesday, April 2 at the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan.
The event will be hosted by Daisy Exposito-Ulla (chairman and chief executive officer of the Bravo Group) and Jorge Ulla (president of Bolero Productions). It will honor Eduardo Menasce, president of Verizon Communications’ Enterprise Solutions Group, and José Manuel Carreno, a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre. Entertainment will be provided by Cuban star Celia Cruz, and there will be dancing to José Alberto “El Canario” and Orchestra.
All profits from the gala will go to support Dignidad, Repertorio Español’s arts-in-education program for students of all ages, which anually assists 25,000 individuals.
The event will be held at the Plaza Hotel (Fifth Avenue at 59th Street), beginning with a cocktail reception at 7pm followed by dinner at 8pm. Black tie is required.
