Reimagined Bodyguard Musical Announces Cast for North American Tour

The full cast has been announced for the North American tour of the reimagined production of The Bodyguard the Musical, directed by Samantha Saltzman. The tour will kick off in Toledo, OH on October 15 and continue to more than 50 cities in its first year.

The cast is led by Brooke Bailey as Rachel Marron, with Jonathan Blansfield as Frank Farmer, Erica Burkett as the Rachel Marron alternate, Andrea Simpson as Nicki Marron, Keyshawn Brian Steele as Tony Scibelli, Anthony S. Goolsby as Bill Devaney, Ethan Hall as Stalker, Riki Stevens as Sy Spector, Carmelo Kelly as Fletcher, and Shiloh Prendergast as Fletcher.

The cast also includes Cedric Jamaal Greene, Cydney Heard, Tanner Jarrett Kirol, Joe Love, Lucy Mangion, Yurika Ono, Camal Pugh, Courtney Genoveva Saffold, Samantha Scott, and Scott Willits.

Based on the 1992 film starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, the musical features a book by Alexander Dinelaris. Former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard Frank Farmer is hired to protect superstar Rachel Marron from an unknown stalker and the story is set to songs made famous by Whitney Houston including “So Emotional,” “I Will Always Love You,” and “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.”

The production also features choreography by Jim Cooney, music supervision and additional orchestrations by Darryl Archibald, scenic design by Christine Peters, lighting design by Craig Stelzenmuller, sound design by Joshua D. Reid, costume design by Whitney Locher, and hair and wig design by Liz Printz.
