Raul Esparza will appear on CBS’ medical drama A Gifted Man, according to a report on Deadline.com.
The new series centers on a neurosurgeon (to be played by Patrick Wilson) whose dead wife (Jennifer Ehle), starts appearing to him. Esparza will play a character who was once a boyfriend to the deceased woman.
Esparaza received Tony Award nominations for his work in Speed-the-Plow, The Homecoming, Company and Taboo. Among his other Broadway credits are Arcadia, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Rocky Horror Show and Cabaret.
