Rachel Brosnahan, Finn Wittrock Join Daniel Craig and David Oyelowo in Othello

Sam Gold will direct the New York Theatre Workshop production.

New York Theatre Workshop has announced full casting for its upcoming productions of Nat Turner in Jerusalem and Othello.

Nathan Alan Davis' Nat Turner in Jerusalem, directed by Megan Sandberg-Zakian, will star Phillip James Brannon (Bootycandy) as Nat Turner and Rowan Vickers (The Sensuality Party) as Thomas R. Gray. Previews begin September 7, with opening night set for September 26. It will run through October 16.

It will feature scenic design by Susan Zeeman Rogers, costume design by Montana Blanco, lighting design by Mary Louise Geiger, sound design by Nathan Leigh, fight direction by Thomas Schall, and Dawn Elin-Fraser (Waitress) will serve as dialect coach.

William Shakespeare's Othello, directed by Tony winner Sam Gold, will star the previously announced David Oyelowo (Selma) and Daniel Craig (Spectre) as Othello and Iago. They will be joined by Rachel Brosnahan (House of Cards) as Desdemona, David Wilson Barnes (Bridge of Spies) as the Duke/Ludovico, Marsha Stephanie Blake (Orange is the New Black) as Emilia, Blake DeLong (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812) as Soldier, Glenn Fitzgerald (Dirty Sexy Money) as Brabantio, Slate Holmgren (King Lear) as Montano, Anthony Michael Lopez (The Penalty) as Soldier, Matthew Maher (The Flick) as Roderigo, Nikki Massoud (Zealot) as Bianca, Kyle Vincent Terry (Robin Hood) as Soldier, and Finn Wittrock (American Horror Story) as Cassio.

Othello will feature scenic design by Andrew Lieberman, costume design by David Zinn, lighting design by Jane Cox, sound design by Bray Poor, and fight direction by Thomas Schall. Andrew Wade (Matilda) will serve as the voice consultant and Michael Sexton will serve as dramaturg and text consultant.

Dates for Othello will be announced.
