A large company of Broadway regulars will gather in Tucson this September to star in Windows, a new play by Tawni O’Dell.

Presented by MMaxwell Media and Warren & Jale Trepp, in association with Arizona Theatre Company and NewYorkRep, Windows will play September 10 and 12, during which time it will be recorded for streaming in 2027.

Mitchell Maxwell (Dinner With Friends) directs a company featuring Bryan Batt (Mad Men), Peter Bradbury (Glengarry Glen Ross, Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde), Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice), Priscilla Lopez (A Chorus Line), Alyssa Melani (The Chair), Jesse Nager (Motown The Musical), Gayle Samuel (Ohio State Murders), Cheryl Stern (La Cage aux Folles), Rachel York (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), and Rachel Zatcoff (Fiddler on the Roof).

Set against a world forced into physical separation, the play examines how individuals were reshaped by an experience shared collectively yet endured in isolation. O’Dell developed Windows from Closing the Distance, her episodic podcast series created and recorded during the early days of the Covid-19 lockdown.

Windows features production design by Rob Bissinger, costume design by David Woolard, lighting design by Jamie Roderick, and sound design by Alex Neumann.
