Allegiance is just days away from its official November 8 opening at the Longacre Theatre. George Takei makes his Broadway debut in the musical inspired by his upbringing in a Japanese internment camp during World War II. Takei stars alongside Tony winner Lea Salonga, Telly Leung, Katie Rose Clarke, and Michael K. Lee in a production featuring a book by Marc Acito, music and lyrics by Jay Kuo, and direction by Olivier Award nominee Stafford Arima.
