Porchlight Musical Theatre has announced the four musicals that will comprise its 2012-2013 season.
The company’s first offering will be A Class Act, which focuses on the life of A Chorus Line lyricist Ed Kleban. Tammy Mader will direct and choreograph the production, which will run September 1- October 14.
Also on the theater’s schedule is Mark St. Germain and Randy Courts’ adaptation of O. Henry’s The Gifts of the Magi (November 17 – December 3), which will be directed by Nick Bowling; Laine Robertson’s musical about Billie Holiday, Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill (February 9 – March 24), to be directed by Rob Lindley; and Rodgers and Hart’s Pal Joey (April 20 – June 2), to be directed by Michael Weber.
