On Tuesday, March 15,
Spidermusical opened at the
Mint Theatre, where it is set to run through March 21. With a book co-written by lyricist Randy Blair and Timothy Michael Drucker, the show features direction by Drucker, choreography by Connor Gallagher, and music direction by Kristen Lee Rosenfeld.
The show, with music by Matt roi Berger, asks the question: what really happens when nerds get bitten by radioactive spiders?
The company features Blair along with Alex Brightman, Sara Chase, Steven Booth, Kate Wetherhead, Katie Thompson, Dana Steingold, Max Jenkins, Sam Tedaldi, and Jason Veasey.
The creative team includes David Withrow (costume design), Brian Tovar (lighting design), Rock n Roll High School (projection design), and Adam Wachter (orchestration/arrangement).
