PHOTO FLASH: Michael Cerveris, Ricky Martin, Elena Roger at Evita Recording Session

Photos of the recording session of the new Broadway Cast Recording of Evita are being shared in advance of the double-disc recording’s release on the Masterworks Broadway label on June 26.

Directed by Michael Grandage and featuring choreography by Rob Ashford, the revival stars Elena Roger (Eva), Ricky Martin (Che), and Michael Cerveris (Juan Peron), along with Max von Essen (Magaldi) and Rachel Potter (Mistress).

The complete English language cast recording is produced by composer Andrew Lloyd Webber with Nigel Wright. Librettist Tim Rice serves as Executive Producer. The disc will include a bonus track of Roger singing the iconic number “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” in her native Spanish.
