Today co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford attended the Wednesday, June 6 matinee performance of Broadway’s The Lyons, at the Cort Theatre, and visited backstage with 2012 Tony Award nominee Linda Lavin.
Mark Brokaw directs the play, about a family grappling with the impending death of its patriarch.
The cast also currently includes Michael Esper, Dick Latessa, Kate Jennings Grant, Brenda Pressley and Gregory Wooddell. As previously reported, Mad Men‘s Charlie Hofheimer will take over Esper’s role beginning June 12.
