The cast and creative team of David Bar Katz’s The Atmosphere of Memory met the press on Thursday, September 15. Pam MacKinnon directs this Labyrinth Theater Company production, which will play the Bank Street Theater, October 15-November 13, with an opening on October 30.
The play centers on a playwright who has written a play about his family life and who finds that his actual mother has been cast to play his mother and that his estranged father remember events differently than they are depicted in the script.
The cast stars Ellen Burstyn, Max Casella, and John Glover, and also features Kelley Curran, David Deblinger, Charles Goforth, Paul Kandel, Kelley Rae O’Donnell, Melissa Ross, and Sidney Williams.
The production features scenic design by David Gallo, costume design by Emily Rebholz, lighting design by Dans Sheehan, and sound design by Brendan Connelly.
