PHOTO FLASH: Billy Elliot Cast Members Lead Dance Warm-Up Outside Imperial Theatre

Cast members from Broadway’s Billy Elliot hosted a free dance warm-up right outside the Imperial Theatre on Wednesday, July 27.

Based on the 2000 film of the same name, the musical tells the tale of a young boy with a dream of being a dancer. The show — which won 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical — features music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, choreography by Peter Darling and direction by Stephen Daldry.

Participating cast members included Giuseppe Bausilio, who rotates in the title role of the musical, and Ballet Girls Lilla Crawford, Eboni Edwards, Makenzi Fischbach, Brianna Fragomeni, Annabelle Kempf, Maria May, Ruby Rakos, Kendra Tate, Heather Tepe, Kayla Vanderbilt and Caroline Workman.
