The Center Theatre Group celebrated the opening of Follies at the Ahmanson Theatre on Wednesday, May 9. The production is directed by Eric Schaeffer.

Opening night guests included Scott Bailey, Angela Bassett, Debby Boone, Kimberly Brook, Kevin Chamberlin, Adrienne Frantz, Cloris Leachman, Rebecca Luker, Courtney Mazza, Matthew Morrison, Annie Potts, Renee Puente, James Van Der Beek, Courtney B. Vance, JoAnne Worley, Robert Wuhl, and Jacob Young.

The production stars Danny Burstein, Victoria Clark, Jan Maxwell, Elaine Paige, and Ron Raines, with Christian Delcroix, Colleen Fitzpatrick, Lora Lee Gayer, Michael Hayes, Leah Horowitz, Jayne Houdyshell, Florence Lacey, Carol Neblett, Mary Beth Peil, David Sabin, Kirsten Scott, Frederick Strother, Nick Verina, Susan Watson, Terri White, and Sammy Williams.

Rounding out the ensemble are John Carroll, Mathew deGuzman, Sara Edwards, Nathaniel Flatt, Leslie Donna Flesner, Jenifer Foote, Danielle Jordan, Amanda Kloots-Larsen, Joseph Kolinski, Joe Komara, Brittany Marcin, Erin N. Moore, Jessica Pariseau, Andrew Pirozzi, Pamela Otterson, Angel Reda, Clifton Samuels, Jessica Sheridan, Becky Elizabeth Stout and Sam Strasfeld.

The production features choreography by Warren Carlyle, music direction by James Moore, scenic design by Derek McLane, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Natasha Katz, sound design by Kai Harada and the original orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick.
