Petula Clark and Carol Woods will be guest performers on Dave Willetts’ newest CD Once in a Lifetime. The album is set for a May 28 release from Stage Door Records.
The disc will celebrate the performer’s 25 years in show business and feature selections from such well-known musicals as Sweeney Todd, Brigadoon, Follies, The Phantom of the Opera, Jekyll and Hyde, and Oklahoma!, as well as material from lesser known shows as Matador, Jekyll, and Randy Newman’s Faust. In addition, Clark will join Willetts in performing”Someone Like You” and Woods will be featured in a duet of “We Love Who Love.”
Willetts received an Olivier Award nomination for his performance in Sunset Boulevard. Among his many other credits are Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera, Aspects of Love, Legally Blonde, and Sunday in the Park With George.
