Rick Elice’s new Tony-nominated Broadway play, Peter and the Starcatcher, will launch a national tour at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver, CO in August 2013. The play’s Tony-nominated directors, Roger Rees and Alex Timbers, will direct the touring production, which will be represented by The Road Company.
Based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, the play tells the epic origin story of Peter Pan. The Broadway production, currently playing the Brooks Atkinson Theatre has garnered nine Tony Award nominations, including Best New Play.
