Pentatonix's Kirstin Maldonado Makes Her Broadway Debut in Kinky Boots

Kinky Boots welcomed Grammy Award-winning Pentatonix singer Kirstin Maldonado who made her Broadway debut at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on Friday, February 2, succeeding Delaney Westfall in the role of Lauren. Maldonado will remain with the production through April 8. Former cast member Caroline Bowman also rejoined the company as Nicola.

Based on the 2005 film, Kinky Boots follows Charlie, who tries to save his recently deceased father's shoe factory from bankruptcy by manufacturing shoes for drag queens. The musical features a score by Grammy Award-winning pop star Cyndi Lauper and a book by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein. Jerry Mitchell directs and choreographs.
