Parker Posey will host the Ali Forney Center’s third annual Oasis summer benefit on Thursday, June 19 at the Bowery Hotel’s Terrace Room.
The evening, sponsored by Barclays, will feature a performance by RuPaul’s Drag Race runner-up Chad Michaels.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, The Ali Forney Center is a homeless shelter and advocacy organization for LGBT teens and young adults that provides short-and-long-term housing and drop-in services to help them overcome the rejection and abuse they have faced for being who they are.
Posey is a stage and screen star whose credits include Hurlyburly, Fifth of July, The House of Yes, and Waiting for Guffman.
