Paolo Andino will star in the Blank Theatre’s annual production of David Sedaris’ solo comedy, The Santaland Diaries, running November 16-December 16 at Hollywood’s Stella Adler Theatre. Michael Matthews helms the production.
Andino starred in the Blank’s 2011 production of the show, which explores Sedaris’ experiences working as Crumpet the Elf during the holiday season at New York’s Macy’s department store.
The production will feature scenic design by Sean Vasquez, costume design by Michael Mullen, lighting design by Tim Swiss, and sound design by Warren Davis.
Andino in best known for his two seasons on Logo’s Big Gay Sketch Show. His stage credits also include Pieces, Anna in the Tropics, and The 39 Steps.
Sedaris is best known for his memoirs Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, and When You Are Engulfed in Flames.
