Off-Broadway Alliance Awards Announces 2016 Nominees

Nominees have been announced for the sixth annual Off-Broadway Alliance Awards, recognizing artists in seven competitive categories: Best New Musical, Best New Play, Best Musical Revival, Best Play Revival, Best Unique Theatrical Experience, Best Solo Performance, and Best Family Show.

Four Legend of Off-Broadway Awards will also be presented to theater press agent Merle Debuskey, Tony-winning actress Linda Lavin, Playwrights Horizons founder Robert Moss, and Tony-nominated actress Lois Smith, while Hall of Fame Awards will be presented posthumously to actors Anne Jackson and Eli Wallach, actress and comedian Anne Meara, and composer Elizabeth Swados.

Winners in the competitive categories will be announced on May 18. Read below for the full list of nominees.
