”Bayonets of Angst” and ”Coming of Age” will also run longer than originally announced.
The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced that five of its shows will play additional performances due to popular demand. The festival runs from July 7-27.
The shows that have received extensions include Rick Kunzi, Justin Zeppa, and Adam Barnosky's Bayonets of Angst (running through July 12); Paul Hodge and Michael Hodge's Clinton (running through July 26); Jacey Powers, Dan Wolpow, and Adam Spiegel's Cloned! (running through July 15); Jon Provan's Coming of Age (running through July 13); and Aaron Ricciardi and Kelly Hoppenjans' The Travels (running through July 26).
NYMF, the largest musical-theater event in America, provides an affordable platform for artists to mount professional productions that reach their peers, industry leaders, and musical-theater fans. Festival shows have gone on to productions on and off-Broadway, and alumni have received a wide array of awards including the Tony Award and the Pulitzer Prize.
