NYU Skirball announced 16 international productions, including works from Romeo Castellucci, Angélica Liddell, and Milo Rau, for its 2026-27 season.

Milo Rau’s Medea’s Children (February 11-13, 2027) views violence from the perspectives of children as it combines a mid-2000s criminal case with the myth of Medea and with a cast of child and teenage actors. This North American premiere is performed in Flemish with English supertitles.

The season also includes Sankai Juku: TOTEM―Void and Height (November 5-7), the final choreographic work of Ushio Amagatsu; Dead Centre’s Deaf Republic (November 12-15), adapted from Ilya Kaminsky’s verse novel by Dead Centre and Zoë McWhinney, and featuring Deaf and hearing actors; Angélica Liddell’s Seppuku (March 18-20, 2027), a rare US performance from the internationally renowned artist, here in dialogue with the legacy of Yukio Mishima; and Romeo Castellucci’s Bros (March 31, 2027-April 3, 2027), in which 23 non-performers acting as police officers respond to commands made via earpiece.
