CBS has announced its new 2011-2012 slate of television series, many of which will feature prominent stage veterans.
Patrick Wilson, Jennifer Ehle, Margo Martindale, and Afton Williamson will appear in the drama A Gifted Man, about a surgeon (Wilson) whose world changes when his deceased ex-wife (Ehle) mysteriously appears to him.
Michael Emerson will star in the crime thriller Person of Interest, as a software genius who teams up with a presumed dead former-CIA agent to seek justice.
Stark Sands and Terry Kinney are part of the ensemble cast of The 2-2, about rookie cops, which has Robert DeNiro as one of the producers.
Additional new shows include the cop drama Unforgettable; 2 Broke Girls, a comedy about waitresses hoping to launch a business; and How to Be a Gentleman, inspired by the book of the same name.
