Performances begin tonight of Bristol Riverside Theatre's new production of Neil Simon's The Sunshine Boys. Directed by the company's artistic director, Keith Baker, the production will run through March 31, with opening night set for Thursday, March 14.

Allen Lewis Rickman (Al Lewis) and Carl Wallnau (Willie Clark) will star, alongside Demetria Joyce Bailey, Nicole Benoit, and Jason Silverman. The creative team will include Jason Simms (scenic design), Linda Bee Stockton (costume design), Charles S. Reece (lighting design), and Elizabeth Atkinson (sound design).

The Sunshine Boys follows Al Lewis and Willie Clark, better known as the retired vaudevillian team Lewis and Clark. They have not spoken with each other since breaking up their act, and now it proves difficult to get the two to agree to a reunion after they're invited to participate in a CBS special documenting the history of comedy.
