National Theatre At Home Will Stream Bryan Cranston in All My Sons

The National Theatre announced the titles that will be released for streaming on National Theatre at Home.

The West End production of All My Sons—starring Bryan Cranston, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, and Paapa Essiedu—will be available to stream on National Theatre at Home starting on September 1. This production of Arthur Miller’s classic play is directed by Ivo Van Hove, and the cast also includes Tom Glynn-Carney and Hayley Squires.

The 50th anniversary production of David Hare’s Teeth ’N‘ Smiles, a play with original music starring Rebecca Lucy Taylor as Maggie Frisby, the lead singer of a band that was once roaring voice of ’60s counterculture, now broke and disillusioned, will be available to stream starting on September 8.

The Fifth Step by David Ireland and starring Olivier Award-winner Jack Lowden and BAFTA-winner Martin Freeman will be released on National Theatre at Home on October 1. Directed by Finn den Hertog, the play is about James (Freeman), who, after years in Alcoholics Anonymous, becomes a sponsor to newcomer Luka (Lowden).

War Horse‘s return to its original home nearly two decades after its debut will be available to stream starting on October 22. Based on Michael Morpurgo’s novel, adapted by Nick Stafford, and originally directed by Marianne Elliott and Tom Morris, War Horse is the most successful play in the history of the National Theatre, winning more than 25 major awards including the Tony Award for Best Play.

The Olivier and Tony Award-winning production The Audience, starring Helen Mirren as Queen Elizabeth II, will stream globally via National Theatre at Home starting on October 22. Directed by Stephen Daldry and written by The Crown‘s Peter Morgan, this production was captured live from the West End in 2013.
